Nestled in rural South Leicestershire, Loseby Wood is managed by Loseby Charity Trust  Registered Charity 220980

 

Our remit is to manage the land on behalf of the parishioners, with wildlife and the environment as our top priorities. 

 

The 5 acre plot is made up of (all approximate) one and a half acres of woodland, one and a half acres of field and one acre of allotments.

The balance includes 2 ponds, accesses, parking, hedges and ditches.

 

Like any small charity, we have to balance the books by generating enough income to cover costs. In our case these costs are primarily water, insurance and maintenance. 

 

We have exciting projects planned to enhance the biodiversity of the site and we are lucky to have a talented local community with the knowledge and skills to assist with our success.
